Drake & Alder Ecology Ltd
About
I have 13 years experience with conservation ecology and wildlife gardens. I have previously worked for the National Trust as wildlife education Ranger, butterfly surveying and a lovely 6 period as Fixing Linking Wetland Officer creating lots of ponds.
I have recently created two new large ponds for a landowner in west Sussex and enhamced the Hedgerow by laying it to thicken the hedge. This also achieved with planting native flowering fruiting species through the year to maximise pollination activity.
Moreover another client in west Sussex wanted a riverbank restoration and we removed the man made features and created a coir role 45 degree wall with wetland pollinators.
Along with my level 3 botanical knowledge I have created many wildflower .meadows with a mix ofcwetland species to maximise species richness. Sometimes I have had clients with big dead trees. With this situation you can mono lift the tree and create holes for bats and Dormouse.
I have many professional qualifications Bsc Environmental Management, Natural England Licence for Dormouse, certificate in re wilding, badger surveying and bat monitoring on buildings.
