About

Bringing joy to you and wildlife to your garden.

Here at Little Tree Gardening I help people get the most out of their outdoor space, filling it with wildlife friendly plants that stimulate your senses and bring you joy throughout the year, whilst creating places for you to relax and unwind.

I love working with nature and people. It’s what I’ve done for the last 20 years. I combine wildlife rich gardening with garden coaching and skills sharing.

I design, create, renovate, restore and maintain wildlife friendly outdoor spaces that are beautiful, diverse and full of life, using ecological gardening methods and sustainability principles.

Working in gardens, ‘yardens’, balconies, community spaces or allotments. I can work alone, or work alongside you, coaching and sharing skills, or just providing companionship in the garden.

Whatever it is you need, I aim to work with you to create a space that meets your needs today, to reflect the time, energy and resources that you have available. Together we can create a space where you and nature thrive.

How can I help?
• If you’d like your garden or outdoor space to join the growing number of nature rich gardens and outdoor spaces across Kendal and the South Lakes but aren’t sure where to start I’m here to help. I can help you select plants that are resilient to our changing climate and provide habitats for a variety of wildlife in your own outdoor space.
• If you’re already doing lots for wildlife in your garden or outdoor space but need a hand maintaining it all, I can help with that.
• If you are new to gardening, or your garden and outdoor space is new to you, I can coach and guide you to create a low maintenance, wildlife rich garden where you have the skills and confidence to maintain it and watch nature flourish.
• If every time you think about doing some gardening you feel overwhelmed, I can work alongside you and together we will change your garden or outdoor space into a place that brings you joy and supports more wildlife, and we can have a good natter doing it!
