Lorna Jane Wildlife Gardening
About
My gardening methods use a mindful and caring approach, with wildlife at the forefront of what I do. I can offer the following services-
Careful and considerate garden maintenance.
Scything in small to medium wild gardens.
Native wild flower seeding.
Setting up bird boxes and waterbutts.
Small planting schemes for different areas of your garden, such as woodland and riparian planting.
Setting up compost bins.
Most work is done by hand rather than machinery. Where machinery is used it is battery powered, with lower levels of noise pollution.
I do not use any weedkillers or pesticides.
I have an environmental background with a BSc (Hons) in Geography and Environmental Management.
I gained a Permaculture Design Certificate from the Permaculture Association in 2020.
I am currently doing my RHS level 2 theory.
I work with Living Woods CIC as a Tree Planting Facilitator.
