About

Based in the Meon Valley, working across Hampshire and Sussex, I am an independent Garden Consultant specialising in the creation and management of naturalistic gardens and landscapes of any size – from the larger country garden to the smaller suburban garden.

I offer a personalised, friendly service and can help you over the short or long term, by providing:

-Consultancy and Advice
-Walk and talks around your garden
-Design inspiration
-Horticultural Advice and Consultancy, -garden coaching
-Long-term, ongoing restoration or management planning
-Surveys and Reports
-Practical help

I can help you enhance your garden or land by creating natural environments such as:
Wildlife ponds
Meadows or ‘mini-meadows’
Wildflower areas
Re-naturalising habitats
Nectar-rich borders
Enhancement and restoration of existing borders
Small woodland management
Hedgerow planting or renovation
Larger scale conservation projects

Having regularly worked in designated areas such as the South Downs National Park, National Nature Reserves, Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSIs) and Conservation Areas I can also, if required, liaise on your behalf with appropriate conservation or statutory bodies to ensure that any projects in sensitive areas run smoothly. For larger projects, I am experienced in the implementation of Conservation Management Plans, Phase I Habitat Surveys, Ecological Surveys, Historic Landscape Surveys.

I have formed long-standing relationships with other specialists in the field (excuse the pun), such as ecologists, other conservation professionals and landscaping teams, and will be able to project manage all of these specialisms should you need.

Whatever your needs, I am here to advise, guide and support you. If you would like some help, please do get in touch.
