Nest and Nettle Ecology

I have been a gardener for over five years, have a degree in wildlife conservation, Level 2 & 3 Lantra Horticulture apprenticeship and a Permaculture Design Course certificate. I have also been awarded for the Best Overall Horticulture Student with BALI & Wiltshire College. As well as being awarded the 2024 John Gibson Environmental Scholarship from Colegrave Seabrook Foundation. I am a member of the Young People in Horticulture Association (YPHA) and the Emergent Generation. Currently training up in ecology consultancy and freelance gardening.

My garden focuses are organic, sustainable, permaculture, rewilding, regenerative and habitat focused.

I have worked on a pollinator project across Newcastle city parks in the past and helped an overgrazed small scale farm become more biodiverse. Keen to work in small scale to larger gardens encompassing a space for both nature and people to enjoy.
