Highland Wildlife Gardening

I am a mostly self taught gardener of over twenty years. Having worked with and gained experience from larger companies previously, and found some methods not conducive to preserving wildlife, I have found my way own of gardening. This definitely does not include using any glyphosate or indeed anything that kills. I now generally don’t use any power tools and work mainly with hand tools. I try to find ways to work in the garden with as little disruption to the beings that live there as possible, and also create more habitats for them to thrive. Planting and creating to encourage species and avoiding too much disruption. Basically thinking about what the garden need to flourish… Bugs, bees and birds! It’s a win win situation for everyone.
