About

Creating joyful, wildlife-loving garden spaces that feel like home. Friendly support tailored to your needs and your space.

I work with clients to develop gardens which become their own personal sanctuary, a place to connect with nature. Some people start off with a blank-canvas new-build garden, others want to add their own personal touch to a garden inherited from a previous owner. I help experienced gardeners in need of a fresh inspiration. I support complete novices looking to learn. Everyone can build a garden which brings them joy everyday.

My services:
– garden visit consultations where I provide on-site advice, for example how to attract more wildlife to an existing mature garden. This service can also be enhanced with a follow-up document listing recommended materials, tools or plants.
– full or partial garden redesigns incorporating new hard landscaping and planting. I can recommend more sustainable alternatives to traditional methods so your new design is as gentle on the landscape as possible. I provide 2D and 3D drawings to help bring our garden vision to life, whether you plan to build it yourself or bring the professionals in.
– planting plans, plant supply and support installing your new plants into their new home, so that your new garden can thrive.

I have trained at RHS Harlow Carr and Craven College, Skipton as part of my Foundation Degree in Garden Design with the Northern School of Garden Design and I am currently a pre-registered member of the Society of Garden Designers. In 2023 I won a Silver Gilt at RHS Tatton Flower Show for a child-friendly long border I designed and built. The same plants now have a permanent home at a local primary school.
