About

My name is Charlotte, and I am a gardener, educator and creative practitioner based in Norwich. I manage and maintain gardens across Norfolk.

My background is in practical horticulture and garden design. Prior to setting up Yarroway Gardening I worked as a gardener and designer for private gardens and also for charities training people in gardening and employment skills. I have worked with people with a range of disabilities as well as people with mental ill health. These experiences have shown me the importance of having access to gardens and growing spaces for improving physical and emotional wellbeing. I work to help people to connect with their surroundings through gardening and creating beautiful therapeutic spaces.

I am particularly engaged in creating gardens that help people and wildlife become more resilient for the future. I am enthused about forest gardening and creating edible, medicinal and useful garden spaces.

I have a degree in Fine Art, and when I am not gardening I enjoy ceramics and printmaking. For me gardening is a creative process and always an experiment. Producing healthy environments in which individuals and communities can thrive in is what inspires me.

I am RHS qualified and a registered member of the Gardener's Guild. I am fully insured.
